FAQs
This is our novel approach at ensuring that family members have the skills they need to care for their loved ones, whether that be at home or anywhere else! The focus is on teaching family members how to perform the key skills they will be supporting with, think- Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and personal care, such as mobility assistance, hygiene care, and behaviour management.
During the training, caregivers will learn how to perform Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), various personal care techniques, and behaviour/communication skills needed to navigate their experiences. This includes how to safely move and transfer their loved one, assist with bathing and grooming, and manage any challenging behaviors that may arise. The training keeps things simple and focused on these basic but common experiences.
Not really! RK Health provides training for family caregivers to learn how to provide care for their loved for when home care is not there. We equip family members with the necessary skills for tasks like mobility assistance, hygiene care, and behavior management so that they can confidently support their loved one at home.
